The Gangwon Tourism Foundation (CEO Choi Sunghyun) announced on the 6th that it successfully held the "Gangwon-Jeju Exhibition Complex Industry (MICE) Supporters Exchange Workshop" from the 4th to the 5th at COEX in Seoul and around Namiseom Island.

This event brought together a total of 39 participants, including 25 members of the Gangwon Exhibition Complex Industry (MICE) Supporters "WonMICE" and 14 members of the Jeju Tourism Organization Exhibition Complex Industry (MICE) Supporters "Gaonnuri." The workshop was designed to nurture specialized local talent in the exhibition complex industry (MICE) and to enhance young people's understanding of the industry.
The workshop program included a visit to the "Korea MICE Expo (KME)," the largest exhibition complex industry (MICE) exhibition in Korea, as well as a field trip and on-site experience at Namiseom Island, a representative unique venue in Gangwon.
Participants attended the "Korea MICE Expo (KME)" exhibition and major lectures to learn about the latest industry trends and visited the Gangwon promotional booth operated by the foundation to gain hands-on experience in the field.
Participants stated that the workshop allowed them to gain both practical, field-based experience and a sense of the value of regional exchange.
One participant said, "By seeing the largest exhibition in Korea firsthand, I newly realized how the exhibition complex industry (MICE) is connected to various fields. In particular, it made me think about how to leverage the unique venues of the Gangwon region for industrial purposes."
