Exam Manipulation Thriller "Proxy CSAT" Starring Bae Hyunseong, Cha Kangyun, and Uhm Jiwon to Premiere

The thriller "Proxy CSAT," which deals with college entrance exam manipulation, will be released on TVING next year.

On October 22, TVING announced that actors Bae Hyunseong, Cha Kangyun, Park Yunho, Uhm Jiwon, Park Hyukkwon, and Baek Jiweon will star in the series. The story follows the top student at a prestigious private high school who, under the orders of a blackmailer, takes the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on behalf of another student, leading to a series of events.

Bae Hyunseong will play Nam Jaeyeop, an exemplary student from a wealthy family, while Cha Kangyun will portray Kang Geontae, a special scholarship student from a low-income background. Park Yunho will take on the role of Joo Heedong, Kang Geontae's friend.

Uhm Jiwon will play Shim Kyungoh, a mother who stakes everything on her son's college entrance, Park Hyukkwon will appear as Nam Dongsik, an authoritarian father and district mayor candidate, and Baek Jiweon will portray Baek Sunhee, a mother willing to do anything for her son.

The series will be directed by Park Soyeon, known for "Pyramid Game," with the script written by rookie writer Choi Soo. Production will be a joint effort by Studio Dragon, Sidus, and Studio Wooyoungsoo.
