The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 22nd that it had received Onnuri gift certificates worth 1 million won from the Gwangju branch of the Korea Housing Finance Corporation to support housing-vulnerable groups.
The donation ceremony, held on the morning of the same day at the Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae Nanum Culture Center, was attended by Noh Jeyoung, Manager at the Korea Housing Finance Corporation, Park Dongyoung, Distribution Team Leader at Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, and other officials. The donated gift certificates will be fully allocated to housing-vulnerable groups in the Gwangju area.
The Korea Housing Finance Corporation provides a variety of housing welfare services, including reverse mortgages for seniors, Bogeumjari loans for first-time homebuyers, and jeonse loan guarantees for housing stability. Last year, the corporation also donated 1 million won in cash and Onnuri gift certificates worth 1 million won to support vulnerable groups through Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, continuing its ongoing community sharing activities.
A representative from the Korea Housing Finance Corporation stated, "We hope this small contribution will help housing-vulnerable groups lead more stable lives," adding, "We will continue to engage in various social contribution activities together with the local community."
