Blackpink kicked off their Asia tour in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
On October 18 and 19, Blackpink held their world tour concerts at the National Stadium in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, selling out both shows and attracting a total of 100,000 fans. For the second consecutive year, following 2023, they became the first K-pop group to perform at a local stadium two years in a row.
During the concerts, Blackpink delivered live performances of their major hits, including "Kill This Love," "Pink Venom," "How You Like That," "Playing with Fire," and "Shut Down." Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie, and Ros? each showcased their own solo stages as well.
The members expressed their gratitude, saying, "We were moved by the loud cheers and passion of Kaohsiung. It felt like a dream to see this beautiful stadium filled with all of you. Thank you."
Blackpink will continue their Asia tour, which includes 18 concerts across seven cities. Starting with Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 24, they will meet fans in Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, Blackpink recently finished filming a music video for their new song and are preparing for a full-group comeback. Their agency, YG Entertainment, stated, "We are doing our best with the remaining schedule to achieve the best possible results," adding, "The album is in its final stages to ensure the highest quality."
