The event was organized by the Paju Community Social Security Council and took the form of a "welfare sports day" aimed at strengthening communication and cooperation in the welfare field and energizing one another.

In particular, this event was held under the slogan "Citizen-Centered! Welfare Paju!" and embodied the vision of "A Greater Paju Centered on Citizens" that the city pursues, emphasizing the implementation of citizen-centered welfare.

The event began with the opening declaration in the first part, followed by the introduction of teams and guests, congratulatory remarks, and celebratory performances prepared by heads of social welfare institutions. The festivities kicked off with an energetic "dice-throwing opening event."

In the second part, the welfare sports day featured retro games such as dalgona candy making, biseokchigi (stone-tossing), and Gongginori (Konggi Nori), which could be enjoyed by people of all ages, as well as team-based cooperative programs like "Vision Tower Stacking" and "Lucky Relay." Participants encouraged one another with laughter and cheers, setting aside the fatigue accumulated in the welfare field and enjoying a warm, healing time together.

Lee Bokyung, director of the Munsan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center and the private chairperson of the Paju Community Social Security Council, said, "I hope today's event will provide a brief respite and great strength to everyone working hard in the field. I also hope the laughter and passion of the participants become a new source of vitality for welfare in Paju City."

Kim Kyungil, mayor of Paju City and public chairperson of the Paju Community Social Security Council, stated, "This sports event was a meaningful time for colleagues in the welfare field to laugh, be active together, relieve daily stress, and energize one another. We will continue to strengthen cooperation with the field to implement welfare policies that citizens can truly feel."

Meanwhile, Paju City continues to promote a variety of programs every year, such as joint healing retreats and capacity-building training, to improve the treatment and working conditions of social welfare workers.
