"Healthy Pleasure" is a newly coined term that combines "healthy," meaning health, and "pleasure," meaning enjoyment, referring to a lifestyle that pursues both health and joy.
On the 18th, KB Securities conducted an experiential blood sugar management program called "Mildang Club" for 100 employees who wished to manage their blood sugar levels. The company provided a Dr. Diary "Gluart" package, which combines a continuous glucose monitor and one-on-one remote human coaching, enabling employees to check their blood sugar over a two-week period and receive expert coaching.
Employees who participated in this program wore continuous glucose monitors and attended lectures on blood sugar management, nutrition, and exercise. They consumed low-sugar cookies and yogurt, and engaged in light outdoor running to directly observe how their blood sugar levels changed in response to food and exercise. In particular, to enable participation by employees working in regional offices, the packages were sent in advance, and online education was provided on the day of the event, increasing both participation and satisfaction with the program.
This year, KB Securities has been actively conducting a variety of programs to help employees manage their health.
To encourage the simplest habit for maintaining physical and mental health, the company has continued its 100-day walking challenge, "Shall We Walk Together?", in the second half of the year following the first half. The program includes categories such as Outstanding Challenger, Interdepartmental Competition, and Charity Challenge, leading to enthusiastic participation from employees.
Since April, KB Securities has also been running the "Burn & Earn Challenge" program to promote body fat reduction. Participating employees receive a home body fat scale, and each month, the company selects outstanding challengers. The selection of cumulative outstanding challengers over six months is also forthcoming.
In addition, KB Securities is cultivating a Healthy Pleasure culture through various programs such as the "Healthy Routine Three GO (Eat Well GO, Exercise GO, Sleep Well GO) Challenge" to help employees build healthy routines, and by selecting the "KB Securities Best Runner" among employees at the financial investment marathon hosted by the Korea Exchange.
Kim Sunghyun, CEO of KB Securities, stated, "The health of our employees is a key factor not only for the happiness of their families but also for strengthening the company's competitiveness and improving corporate culture. We are committed to health management," adding, "We will continue to build KB Securities' unique Healthy Pleasure culture, where employees can enjoy both health and happiness together."
