GS Engineering & Construction Establishes Innovation Idea Hub to Foster Safety and Quality Technology Ecosystem

On October 22, GS Engineering & Construction announced the launch of the "Innovation Idea Hub," a new platform designed to collect proposals for new technologies from external partners and ideas from employees.

The Innovation Idea Hub platform operates through two separate channels: one for receiving external solutions, and another for gathering a wide range of internal ideas from employees, such as those related to safety enhancement and quality improvement.

Technologies and ideas submitted through the platform are evaluated by the relevant departments to assess their business potential. With the collaboration of related teams, they undergo on-site verification processes to be transformed into technologies applicable to actual construction sites.

Even external companies lacking business infrastructure or support capabilities can be selected as outstanding proposers through this newly established platform. If chosen, they will receive support from GS Engineering & Construction for on-site demonstration and commercialization opportunities. Adopted proposals will be rewarded with appropriate compensation, including support for patent applications and opportunities to participate in bids, thereby establishing a system for mutual technological growth with partner companies.

GS Engineering & Construction has set the achievement of "Zero Safety Accidents" as a core goal for the platform. The company plans to establish a system to intensively manage and verify new technologies and ideas directly related to safety, enabling their swift implementation at construction sites.
