Lotte Hi-Mart Offers Discounts on New Samsung and LG Kimchi Refrigerators...Up to 300,000 Won in Benefits

Lotte Hi-Mart announced on October 22 that it will offer discounts on new kimchi refrigerator models from Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics at over 310 stores nationwide through the end of this month.

During the event, customers who purchase promotional items such as the Samsung Electronics "Bespoke AI Kimchi Plus 4-Door (490L)" and the LG Electronics "Dios AI Objet Collection 4-Door Kimchi TokTok (491L)" can receive discounts of up to 100,000 won. All of these promotional products have achieved the highest energy efficiency rating (Grade 1), and customers can receive an additional 10% rebate on the purchase price by applying for the "Top Efficiency Home Appliance Rebate Program" run by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

From October 24 to 27, customers who purchase a kimchi refrigerator will be eligible for even more benefits, including tiered discounts based on purchase amount and additional discounts for simultaneous purchases. For all Samsung Electronics kimchi refrigerators, customers who spend at least 1.8 million won can receive up to 100,000 won off, depending on the purchase amount. If customers purchase new promotional models, both the tiered discount and the new product discount can be applied together.

There are also discount benefits for customers who purchase a kimchi refrigerator together with an electric rice cooker or a blender. For example, when buying a promotional kimchi refrigerator such as the LG Electronics "Dios Objet 4-Door Kimchi TokTok Fit & Max (480L)" together with a promotional Cuchen electric rice cooker, customers can receive up to 300,000 won off by combining weekend discounts and affiliated card discounts.

Additionally, customers who purchase a promotional kimchi refrigerator together with a Lotte Hi-Mart private brand (PB) "PLUX Wireless Electric Slicer" or a Braun "Chopper" blender can receive up to 60,000 won off.

Moon Chong, Head of Large Home Appliances at Lotte Hi-Mart, said, "As the retail price of napa cabbage has recently decreased and various kimchi discount events are being held in the distribution market, we expect more customers to prepare homemade or packaged kimchi. We hope customers will take advantage of both product discounts and the top efficiency home appliance rebate to purchase popular brand kimchi refrigerators at even lower prices."
