Lotte Holds 'Global Conference' for Outstanding Overseas Employees

Five-Day Program for Overseas Local Employees Starting on the 22nd

Lotte announced on the 28th that it held the "2025 Lotte Global Conference for G-LIFT" for key local talent overseas.

Lotte held the "2025 Lotte Global Conference" from the 22nd to the 26th for outstanding local employees overseas. Thirty-three participants from 15 affiliates received core competency training and visited major Lotte business sites. The conference was held over five days from the 22nd at Lotte World Tower and the Lotte Human Resources Development Institute Osan Campus. Thirty-three outstanding local employees from 15 affiliates, including Lotte Wellfood, Lotte Department Store, and Lotte Hotel, participated in a four-night, five-day program that included both theoretical and practical training.

To secure global talent, Lotte operates systematic and differentiated training programs for outstanding local employees overseas, tailored to positions ranging from team leader to corporate head. The recently held Lotte Global Conference is also a program designed to foster core competencies in next-generation leaders who will drive future global business. Since its launch in 2023, a total of 111 selected key talents have completed the training.

This year, Lotte significantly strengthened the core competency training curriculum of the global conference. Participants received training from both internal and external instructors on strengthening leadership and communication skills to drive performance, entrepreneurship to discover new business opportunities, understanding of Lotte Group, and business case analysis and practice. They also visited key group sites such as the Shin Kyuk-ho Lotte Founder Memorial Hall, Lotte World Tower, and Lotte World. On the final day, they attended a meeting with their respective affiliates and visited business sites.

On this day, Shin Yooyeol, Head of Future Growth at Lotte Holdings, attended the opening event to encourage the participants. Shin emphasized, "Achieving results in global business is one of the most important strategies for the continued growth and development of Lotte Group," and added, "Each of you here is a key leader in realizing our global vision and a main driver of the group's future."

A Lotte representative stated, "We plan to continuously nurture local talent at overseas subsidiaries to enhance Lotte's competitiveness in international markets while also supporting participants in becoming global ambassadors who promote the Lotte brand themselves."
