Introducing the "Barrier-Free" Concept
Woori Bank announced that it will launch the "Consideration-Free Campaign" to make banking services more convenient for people with disabilities, seniors, pregnant women, and customers accompanied by infants and young children.
The "Consideration-Free Campaign" is a name inspired by the concept of Barrier-Free, a movement to remove barriers for socially disadvantaged groups, and was established to create a more inclusive environment for financially vulnerable customers.
Under this campaign, people with disabilities, seniors, pregnant women, and customers with infants and young children can comfortably rest in the "Consideration-Free Seats" while waiting. In addition, pregnant women who present a badge can use the exclusive "Woori Mom Free Pass" counter, which allows them to receive service before general customers.
Woori Bank is collaborating with LG Uplus to provide customers with content from "LG U+ Kids World" for infants and young children. Through this service, children can watch content on tablets while waiting, allowing guardians to conduct financial work more conveniently.
This campaign will first be implemented at the Head Office Branch, Seoyeouido Financial Center, Suyudong Financial Center, and Mangpo Station Branch. After a pilot operation, the bank will consider expanding it to branches nationwide.
A Woori Bank representative stated, "We have prepared this campaign to improve financial accessibility for a diverse range of customers," and added, "We will continue to expand systems and services for financial consumers in the future."
