Appearing in HBO Drama "The White Lotus" Season 3
BLACKPINK member Lisa appeared on the red carpet at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards as a cast member of the HBO drama "The White Lotus" Season 3.
On the 14th (local time), at the Emmy Awards ceremony held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, Lisa drew the spotlight as she appeared in a flower-inspired pink dress.
"The White Lotus" is a series that unfolds as a mystery and black comedy, telling the story of a week at a luxury hotel on a Hawaiian beach. Lisa joined Season 3 as Mook, a hotel staff member. This season received nominations in a total of 23 categories at this year's Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series, Supporting Actress (Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Aimee Lou Wood), and Supporting Actor (Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Sam Rockwell).
This year, the award for Outstanding Drama Series went to the HBO medical drama "The Pit," while the Outstanding Limited Series award went to the Netflix British drama "A Boy's Time," and the Outstanding Comedy Series award was claimed by Apple TV Plus's "The Studio."
No Korean productions were nominated this year. At the 74th Emmy Awards in 2022, director Hwang Donghyuk's Netflix drama "Squid Game" received 14 nominations and won six awards, including Best Director and Best Actor.
Meanwhile, Lisa released her first full-length album "Alter Ego" in February and will join BLACKPINK's world tour starting in October.
