'Shinhan Card Plan' Becomes a Million Seller in Just 18 Months Since Launch

Shinhan Card announced on September 15 that its flagship lineup, the "Plan Series," has surpassed 1 million issued cards in just one year and six months.

The Plan Series is Shinhan Card's signature universal product system, consisting of offerings such as the Point Plan, Discount Plan, and Edu Plan Plus.

The series has received positive feedback from customers by providing benefits such as point accumulation, discounts, and cashback, all designed with rational perks tailored to customers' lifestyles and interests.

To commemorate reaching 1 million cumulative issued cards for the Plan Series, Shinhan Card is launching the "One Million Plan Week." For one week until September 21, the event will be held under the dual themes of "1 Million" and "Plan."

Shinhan Card has prepared a point giveaway event where customers can receive 100% of their My Shinhan Points just by using their card once.

Customers who register during the event period and make a purchase with a Plan Series card at domestic or international merchants are eligible. Upon use, they will receive a random reward between 100 and 1 million points.

During the event, the 100th, 10,000th, and 1,000,000th transactions each day will receive an additional 1 million points.

Shinhan Card is also running an event on its official Instagram account where users can comment their own spending plan under the theme "What would you do with 1 million won?" to win prizes.

The more likes a comment receives, the higher the chances of winning. Prizes include a 1 million won gift card (1 winner), a 2026 calendar & diary set (5 winners), and an alarm clock (10 winners), among others.

To celebrate the season for outings, Shinhan Card is also offering an event with up to 60% discounts at the three major amusement parks: Everland, Lotte World, and Seoul Land.

Customers can receive an instant discount on unlimited ride passes at the ticket booth by presenting their Plan Series card, regardless of the previous month's spending.
