Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) and Arpina are hosting the 4th annual "2025 Busan Travel Essay Contest" this year.
The contest is subtitled "A Secret I Want to Keep, My Own Busan Story," and invites participants to submit essays about special moments and memories they experienced while traveling in Busan.
Last year, a total of 164 diverse stories from both domestic and international travelers were submitted, drawing significant attention. This year, 12 winners will be selected in total. The grand prize winner will receive the BMC President's Award, a national tourism gift certificate, a complimentary stay at Arpina, and more.
Anyone, whether domestic or international, who has traveled in Busan for at least two nights is eligible to participate. Those interested can download the application form from the Arpina website and submit it via the designated email. The submission deadline is October 31, and the winners will be announced on November 24 through the Arpina website.
Shin Changho, President of Busan Urban Corporation, stated, "I hope this contest will be an opportunity for many visitors to Busan to share their unique and special stories."
