Uijeongbu City Listens to Accommodation Industry Voices... Collaborating for Regional Development and Mutual Growth

This meeting was organized to directly listen to the difficulties faced by the local accommodation industry and to explore practical ways for the tourism and accommodation sectors to grow together.

Mayor Donggeun Kim and officials from the Uijeongbu City branch of the Korea Accommodation Business Association attended the meeting, exchanging a wide range of opinions focused on improving the accommodation environment and expanding tourism infrastructure.

The participants proposed realistic measures such as improving accommodation-related regulations, strengthening connections with local tourism, and promoting joint marketing initiatives. Mayor Kim expressed deep empathy for the industry's concerns and conveyed his determination to work together to find solutions.

Mayor Kim also conveyed his understanding and encouragement for the challenges faced by the accommodation industry, stating that the city would thoroughly review various ways to provide support. In particular, he promised to strengthen public-private cooperation systems to ensure balanced development of the accommodation and tourism industries through policy support.

The city plans to carefully analyze the diverse opinions raised during this meeting, reflect them in its policies, and prepare and implement practical alternatives.
