Leveraging Quality Competitiveness, Actively Targeting the Local Market
"Expecting Results Within the Year in Countries Pursuing Approval"

Bolivia is one of the major markets for botulinum toxin, with growing interest in cosmetic procedures. The number of customers seeking non-invasive treatments is increasing, and the market is becoming more segmented as more men show interest in aesthetic procedures.

Medytox was the first in the domestic botulinum toxin industry to enter the Bolivian market in 2007 with its botulinum toxin product 'Meditoxin' (export name: Neuronox). Building on its established brand recognition and expertise gained through early market entry, the company plans to focus on the successful launch and market share expansion of its next-generation toxin product, 'Newlux,' through its affiliate.

A Numeco representative stated, "We will actively target the local market by leveraging the quality competitiveness of our next-generation toxin product 'Newlux' to quickly raise brand awareness," adding, "We will also achieve rapid results in other countries where we are pursuing approval within this year."

'Newlux' features the application of the latest manufacturing processes to improve production yield and quality, and excludes animal-derived ingredients during the bulk production process to prevent potential allergic reactions to animal antigens. The chemical processing steps have also been reduced to minimize denaturation of the toxin protein.

Meanwhile, Numeco obtained approval for 'Newlux' in Peru, Thailand, and Georgia prior to Bolivia, and is currently seeking approval in about 20 countries.
