Real-Time Patient Monitoring Using Wearable Technology
On September 15, Yuhan Corporation announced that it has signed a domestic supply contract for the AI-based smart in-hospital monitoring solution "MEMO Cue" with the digital healthcare specialist Huino. This product was developed by the digital healthcare innovator Huino and will be distributed by Yuhan Corporation. This marks the second collaboration between the two companies, following the "MEMO Patch," a long-term ambulatory electrocardiogram monitoring system for outpatients that they have worked on together since 2022.

This contract is expected to further strengthen the competitiveness of both companies' solutions in the domestic digital healthcare market by expanding their collaboration into real-time monitoring solutions, including wearable devices.
"MEMO Cue" is a real-time patient monitoring AI solution that continuously measures and analyzes various patient biometric data, such as electrocardiogram and respiration, for eight days using a wearable electrocardiogram patch. In February of this year, it received insurance reimbursement approval for remote cardiac monitoring (EX871) from the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, increasing its potential for adoption in actual medical settings.
Following the successful domestic licensing agreement for "MEMO Patch," the two companies have already supplied wearable electrocardiogram devices to various medical institutions. In particular, Severance Hospital has surpassed 10,000 cumulative tests, demonstrating both demand and utility in hospital environments.
Gil Youngjun, CEO of Huino, stated, "With this contract, we are shifting from a focus on a single product to a solution-based collaboration. By combining our medical AI technology with Yuhan Corporation's market leadership, we expect to generate significant synergy." He added, "We will continue to strengthen our competitiveness in the domestic digital healthcare market through close cooperation and deliver innovative value to both patients and healthcare professionals."
A representative from Yuhan Corporation commented, "This 'MEMO Cue' contract is not just about supplying a product; it lays the foundation for establishing a hospital-wide integrated monitoring system based on solutions. It will provide a faster and more stable growth platform in the digital health market."
