The Jaseng Dream Tree Olympics is a sports event that began in 2018, with the aim of promoting the health and emotional growth of children from community child centers. Except for the period during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-2021), the event has been held one to two times each year, traveling to various regions nationwide where Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospitals are located. To date, approximately 4,100 children have participated in the event, fostering teamwork and a sense of community.

This year’s event brought together around 400 children from 25 community child centers in Suwon, along with about 100 participants including staff from Jaseng Medical Foundation and Suwon Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital, the Suwon Jaseng Volunteer Group, and officials from the local community child centers. Shin Minsik, Chairman of the Social Contribution Committee at Jaseng Medical Foundation, and Yoon Moonsik, Director of Suwon Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital, also attended to support the children’s sports activities.

During the event, children were divided into four teams-Saessak, Haneul, Sarang, and Yeoljeong-and enthusiastically competed in 10 sports activities, including a giant ball relay, shoe toss, board flipping, cooperative ball bouncing, and relay races. After the activities, all participants received commemorative gifts, and the winning team was awarded gift certificates and other prizes.

Suwon Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital also set up a hands-on experience booth at the venue, providing children with the opportunity to explore the career of a Korean medicine doctor.

Park Byungmo, Chairman of Jaseng Medical Foundation, stated, "The foundation is committed to supporting children-the future of our society-so they can grow up healthy and bright, through scholarships, cultural, and sports programs." He added, "We will continue to offer a wide range of opportunities for children and youth to pursue their dreams and carry out sharing activities that bring warmth to communities everywhere."

Meanwhile, Jaseng Medical Foundation continues to engage in various social contribution activities to support the healthy growth of children and youth from vulnerable groups. In particular, the foundation actively supports educational opportunities and cultural participation through scholarship programs such as the Hope Dream Scholarship and the Jaseng Shin Joonshik Scholarship, as well as events like the Jaseng Dream Tree Film Festival and the Jaseng Windream Orchestra.
