Hyundai Motor Company swept both the first and second races at the 5th round of the 2025 TCR World Tour held in Australia. With this achievement, Hyundai has secured its third trophy of the season.
On September 15, Hyundai Motor Company announced that the Elantra N TCR (also known as Avante N TCR) claimed victory at the 5th round of the 2025 TCR World Tour, which took place at The Bend in Australia from September 12 to 14 (local time).
Norbert Michelisz of the BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse team, driving the Elantra N TCR race car, took first place in the first final race held on September 13. Nestor Girolami secured first place in the second final race held the following day. As a result, Michelisz moved up to 5th place in the 2025 season driver standings, while Girolami ranked 6th in the season driver standings.
Thanks to the strong performance of its drivers, the BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse team has accumulated a total of 458 points up to this round, moving up to second place in the overall team standings.

Hyundai plans to accelerate its efforts to achieve its season championship goal, having secured three wins out of the five rounds held so far this year.
The upcoming 6th round of the TCR World Tour will be held at Inje Speedium in Inje, South Korea, from October 17 to 19 (local time).
The TCR World Tour is a "Customer Racing" competition in which direct participation by manufacturers is prohibited, and only professional racing teams that have purchased race cars from manufacturers are eligible to compete.
The TCR Series includes approximately 40 events worldwide, spanning continental and national competitions, with up to 650 drivers participating in each TCR Series event.
A Hyundai Motor Company official stated, "We are very pleased to have achieved victory at the TCR World Tour event in Australia," adding, "We will do our best in the second half of the season to win both the 2025 season driver championship and the manufacturer championship."
