SBVA announced on September 15 that it participated in OpenAI's 'Founder Day Seoul,' held at Society Seongsu in Seoul on the 12th, where it engaged in a discussion about the future of the global artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem and strategies for startups to apply AI technology.


Founder Day Seoul was organized by OpenAI to facilitate direct interaction with domestic startup founders and to explore practical avenues for collaboration. The event was attended by more than 80 founders and startup stakeholders.

At the event, Junpyo Lee, CEO of SBVA, and Brad Lightcap, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of OpenAI, participated in a Fireside Chat to discuss topics including the evolution of the global AI ecosystem, case studies of startups utilizing APIs and models, and challenges facing the domestic AI market.


COO Brad Lightcap stated, "AI is rapidly establishing itself as the foundation for innovation across all industries. Since opening the OpenAI Korea office, we aim to help more Korean startups leverage OpenAI's tools to transform bold ideas into innovative products for the global market."


CEO Junpyo Lee commented, "Collaboration between startups and OpenAI will accelerate the growth of the domestic AI ecosystem. SBVA will also actively support Korean startups so they can play a leading role on the global stage."


During the Q&A session following the discussion, candid opinions were shared regarding the real challenges faced by domestic startups. In particular, there was a focused discussion on ways to advance the Korean AI ecosystem, which received a positive response from the audience.


Meanwhile, SBVA has been supporting domestic companies' overseas expansion by building strategic partnerships with global tech firms. Going forward, the company plans to continue leveraging this global network to help domestic startups discover new market opportunities and enhance their competitiveness on the world stage.
