K Bank announced on September 5 that it held an internal festival called 'AI CON' to enhance employees' understanding of artificial intelligence and promote a culture of AI utilization within the company.

This event was organized to share K Bank's AI strategy and roadmap, and to broadly introduce the latest technology trends as well as practical application cases.

First, K Bank's dedicated AI strategy and innovation team presented the company's AI vision and step-by-step roadmap. They also explained key AI concepts such as generative and discriminative AI, large language models (LLMs), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) in an accessible way, helping participants better understand current technology trends.

Next, various real-world cases where AI was applied to actual work and delivered results were introduced, vividly demonstrating the impact of AI-driven work innovation.

Key examples included the adoption of LLMs in the pre-approval process for advertising copy, which reduced review times, and the use of AI in creating marketing copy and icon images, which improved content production efficiency.

Additionally, specific experiences such as building a system that automatically verifies the purpose of financial transactions to enhance both accuracy and speed of reviews, and using AI to automatically summarize complex administrative documents to reduce the workload of staff, were shared and drew significant interest from employees.

Alongside these, smart work strategies utilizing AI were also presented. Through various examples such as document summarization, automatic report generation, and in-house knowledge-based chatbots, the practical applicability of AI was introduced, along with guidance on automation concepts that employees can immediately adopt in their work.

The event concluded with a special lecture by Jokoding, a tech YouTube creator with 680,000 subscribers. Jokoding shared insights on AI utilization and the latest technology trends from a developer's perspective, offering a range of practical insights that received an enthusiastic response from attendees.

A K Bank representative stated, "AI is a tool for two-way innovation that transforms the way employees work while also providing customers with new financial experiences. Moving forward, we will continue to set new standards for digital financial services through AI-based work innovation and advanced service offerings."
