Exploring Strategies to Support Sales Channels for Excellent and Innovative Procurement Products
Listening to Regulatory Improvement Needs
On August 13, Shin Bongjae, Director of the Busan Regional Public Procurement Service, visited K-Sys (CEO Chun Byungmin) to tour the production site and engage in on-site communication by listening to challenges faced by the company.
K-Sys, located in Sasang-gu, Busan, was designated in 2022 as a supplier of excellent procurement products by the Public Procurement Service for its "LED display board with an integrated hub board," developed through consistent research and technological innovation. The company currently supplies these products to both public institutions and the private sector.
The purpose of this visit was to explore ways to support sales channels for excellent procurement products and to directly hear about challenges and unnecessary regulations encountered in the public procurement process.
This year, the Public Procurement Service is focusing on a "regulation reset" initiative, which involves a comprehensive review of 760 public procurement-related rules and guidelines to verify the validity of existing regulations and actively incorporate the opinions of policy stakeholders into the system.
Director Shin Bongjae stated, "We will actively support excellent procurement products, recognized for their technological prowess and quality, so that they can achieve sustainable growth based on the public procurement market." He also urged particular attention to the safety management of on-site workers.
