Hwasun County (Mayor Bokgyu Goo) announced that on August 11, Hwasun Nonghyup (Chairman Joonseong Cho) donated ready-to-eat rice noodles worth 5 million won to support vulnerable groups in Hwasun-eup.
Every year, Hwasun Nonghyup promotes mutual donations through the Hometown Love Donation Program to foster local talent via the Scholarship Fund for Talent Development in Hwasun County, and to revitalize the local economy and encourage exchanges between regions.
In particular, Chairman Joonseong Cho, who also leads the volunteer group "Namdo Sarang Volunteer Corps," has consistently engaged in social contribution activities for Hwasun County, including improving housing conditions for low-income households, environmental clean-up within the county, and volunteer disinfection services.
The rice noodles donated by Hwasun Nonghyup will be delivered to welfare blind spots in Hwasun-eup and to the Daycare Center for the Disabled.
Chairman Joonseong Cho stated, "Donating rice noodles made from locally grown rice to our residents is a win-win for both farmers and customers," adding, "I believe this donation truly embodies Hwasun Nonghyup's mission to be an honest friend to the people of the county."
Heo Seonsim, head of the Social Welfare Division of Hwasun County, said, "I would like to express my gratitude to Chairman Joonseong Cho and everyone at Hwasun Nonghyup, who always stand by our residents and work for the mutual prosperity of the local community."
