At the meeting, topics included the progress of the integrated childcare policy, understanding the childcare finance and property system, and guidance on preparations for transferring responsibilities to the education support offices, all aimed at enhancing the execution capabilities of those in charge.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is analyzing the current status of childcare finances by operating a financial planning task force (TF) utilizing its own personnel resources.
In addition, the office is systematically and organizationally preparing for the transfer by operating a property planning task force (TF) together with the metropolitan education offices (Gyeonggi, Seoul, and Incheon) and the Ministry of Education to study key issues.
An official from the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education stated, "We will further enhance the effectiveness of our efforts to prepare for the transfer to the local management system by continuously communicating with the integrated childcare service managers at the education support offices, including sharing the progress of the currently operating integrated childcare finance and property planning teams."
