This event is designed as a program to provide young people with 'rest for the mind' through Buddhist cultural content, including Seon meditation. During the expo, various programs will be offered, such as a Buddhist humanities lecture (lecturer: Choi Taeseong), a Seon meditation lecture (Venerable Juseok), Buddhist cultural experience booths, and a meditation music concert.

The humanities lecture will take place at Namsan Hall, Dongguk University, at 10:30 a.m. on September 9, immediately following the opening ceremony. Choi Taeseong will give a lecture on the theme 'Wisdom of Life Through the History of Buddhism.' On September 10 at 2:00 p.m., Venerable Juseok, chairman of the Myeonggyeong Cultural Foundation, will present a lecture titled 'You Are the Only One.'

Buddhist cultural experience booths will also be available. Around the Law School area near Paljeongdo at Dongguk University, visitors can experience Seon meditation, make lotus flowers with paper, receive consultations about monastic life, and explore various hands-on Buddhist cultural content such as temple food and Temple Stay promotions. A music concert will also be held during lunchtime. At Paljeongdo Square, a meditation music concert will feature Korean traditional music, jazz, classical, and meditation music.

Since its inception in 2020, the Buddhist Culture Expo has designated October as Culture Month each year, hosting a variety of Buddhist cultural events centered around the Korean Buddhist History and Culture Memorial Hall and Jogyesa Temple.
