Nationwide Until October 31
Easy Inquiry Online and at Branches
The Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association will launch a nationwide "Find Unclaimed Insurance Payouts Campaign" from August 18 to October 31.
Unclaimed insurance payouts refer to benefits that have not been paid out despite the payout amount being finalized due to a qualifying event, because the customer has not filed a claim. This includes mid-term, maturity, and dormant insurance payouts.
According to the association, unclaimed insurance payouts occur for various reasons, such as customers being unaware that they are eligible to receive a payout, or mistakenly believing that high interest rates will continue to apply if they do not claim the payout.
A representative from the Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association stated, "We have organized this campaign in collaboration with Saemaeul Geumgo branches nationwide to protect customers' rights and enhance convenience," adding, "We will promptly and transparently notify and pay out unclaimed insurance benefits to strengthen trust in our financial services."
Customers can easily check for unclaimed insurance payouts through the Saemaeul Geumgo insurance website and the "Saemaeul Geumgo Insurance" application using the "Unclaimed Insurance Payout Inquiry and Payment System."
In addition, customers can visit a nearby Saemaeul Geumgo branch in person or use the Insurance Support Center to inquire about or claim unclaimed payouts.
This campaign is expected to promote the early payment of unclaimed insurance benefits, thereby helping to protect customers' property rights and enhance trust among financial consumers.
