Mirae Asset Securities Unveils English Animation Produced with Generative AI

Mirae Asset Securities announced on August 13 that it has released the global English-language animation "Animal Expedition: In Search of the Tree of Hope," produced using generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Comprising a total of five episodes, Animal Expedition is set in a colorless city and follows a team of animal characters, each with distinct personalities-balanced, informative, stable, and high-risk types-as they embark on an adventure to find the "Tree of Hope." The series goes beyond a simple adventure tale, delivering messages about teamwork and value-based decision-making for the future, while naturally incorporating Mirae Asset Securities' investment principles.

Generative AI technology was applied throughout the entire production process, enhancing both creativity and efficiency in character development, story composition, and visual direction, while also reducing costs by approximately 90% compared to traditional methods.

In addition, collaboration with Chungkang College of Cultural Industries further improved the quality of the project. Chungkang College is known for producing staff members who have worked on "K-Pop: Demon Hunters," a K-animation that has drawn significant attention, as well as "King of Kings," which set a box office record for Korean films in the United States, and Pixar's "Inside Out 2."

Going forward, the series will not be limited to video content but will also be adapted into picture books for use in various educational settings, such as children's libraries and schools participating in the "One Company, One School" initiative. Furthermore, following the English version, the animation will be translated into six languages, including Hindi, Chinese, and Spanish, to ensure that a diverse range of global investors can enjoy the content.

Animal Expedition will be available every Friday at 2 p.m. on Mirae Asset Securities' official YouTube channel, "Smart Money," until September 5.
