Three New Bakery Items, Four Dessert Options
80 Years of Expertise and Enzyme Technology Applied
On August 13, Samlip announced that its healthy bakery brand 'Project:H' has launched seven new bakery and dessert products with significantly reduced sugar content.
Project:H is a brand that Samlip launched last year with the goal of expanding the healthy bakery market by achieving the optimal balance between taste and health. The brand is expanding its product categories to deliver the value of "the most advanced attempt to make bread healthier." Currently, it offers a total of 25 products, including high-protein, low-sugar bakery and dessert items.
The new products feature Samlip Future Food Research Institute's enzyme technology and sugar reduction solutions. Compared to similar products from Samlip, these items have more than 30% less sugar and highlight the original flavors of carefully selected ingredients such as whole grains and seeds, resulting in a cleaner and richer taste.
The bakery lineup includes three products: 'Six-Grain Sweet Red Bean Bread,' which combines the nutty texture of six different grains with the sweetness of red bean paste; 'Sprout Barley Grain Cream Bread,' which features the slight bitterness of sprout barley paired with reduced-sugar cream; and 'Buckwheat Honey Hotteok,' which blends the nutty flavors of buckwheat bread and sunflower seeds with a subtle honey aroma.
The dessert lineup includes 'Plain Basque Cheesecake,' known for its rich cheese flavor; 'Vanilla Bean Cream Castella,' featuring reduced-sugar vanilla bean cream; 'Milk Castella,' which emphasizes a soft texture; and 'Walnut Financier,' which combines the texture and nutty flavor of walnuts. All dessert products contain prebiotic probiotics, allowing consumers to enjoy them in a healthier way.
A Samlip representative stated, "We have introduced a wellness bakery that delivers both taste and health, based on healthy ingredients and 80 years of baking expertise," adding, "As interest in health continues to grow, we will further expand our healthy bread lineup in the future."
