This new product is designed with the Kitchen Fit Max concept, allowing it to be installed flush with kitchen cabinetry as a built-in appliance, as long as there is a 4mm gap on either side between the refrigerator and the cabinets. The refrigerator door can also open fully up to 108 degrees without touching the surrounding furniture. When installed side by side with a standard refrigerator featuring the Kitchen Fit Max design, it creates a seamless kitchen interior as if it were a single product, and its large capacity of approximately 1,000 liters allows for ample food storage.

The new model also introduces the 'Lactic Acid Crunch Fermentation' feature, which optimizes the flavor of kimchi. This function quickly brings the temperature to the optimal level for Leuconostoc lactic acid bacteria, which are responsible for producing a refreshing and crisp kimchi taste. When this feature is used, it generates up to 118 times more Leuconostoc lactic acid bacteria compared to the standard kimchi storage mode, maximizing the cool, sweet, and tangy carbonation flavors, and keeps the kimchi up to 5.7 times crunchier.

Convenience features have also been improved. With the 'Auto Open Door' function and Bixby voice recognition, users can easily open the door by lightly touching the sensor on the front, even when holding heavy kimchi containers in both hands, or by giving a voice command such as "Open the kimchi refrigerator door." In particular, users can check or change refrigerator modes and monitor status via voice commands through Bixby.

In addition, the refrigerator retains differentiated features such as the Custom Fermentation Room, Odor Care Safe Kimchi Container, AI Constant Temperature Mode, and Metal Cooling. The 'Custom Fermentation Room' allows for optimal aging of ingredients, from defrosting meat without worrying about juice loss to ripening fruits that require post-harvest maturation. The 'Odor Care Safe Kimchi Container' uses an odor-reducing filter on the lid to absorb carbon dioxide produced during kimchi fermentation, reducing kimchi odor emissions by up to 75%.

The 'AI Constant Temperature Mode' customizes operation based on the user's refrigerator usage patterns, minimizing temperature fluctuations to keep food fresh. For example, defrosting is performed during periods when the refrigerator door is rarely opened, keeping the internal temperature rise to a minimum. Additionally, the metal cooling curtain blocks external air from the front, while the metal cooling cover and shelves at the back and bottom minimize internal temperature changes, helping to keep ingredients fresh.

The Bespoke AI Kimchi Plus Kitchen Fit Max is available in seven colors, including Clean White, Essential Beige, and Essential White. The suggested retail price ranges from 2,580,000 KRW to 3,650,000 KRW. Freestanding kimchi refrigerators (487L-586L) will also be released sequentially in August, with prices ranging from 2,550,000 KRW to 4,410,000 KRW.

Samsung Electronics is offering benefits worth 300,000 KRW to customers who purchase the new product on Samsung.com by August 31. Customers who purchase the new kimchi refrigerator and write a review by September 30 will receive airtight containers worth 300,000 KRW. Additionally, those who share images of new features such as the 4mm gap or Bixby on social networking services (SNS) will be entered into a draw, with 1,000 winners receiving Naver Pay points.

Moon Jongseung, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' DA Division, stated, "The Bespoke AI Kimchi Plus Kitchen Fit Max further evolves the Kitchen Fit technology first introduced in 2019, enabling a truly built-in appliance interior." He added, "We will continue to introduce innovative, customer-tailored products in terms of performance, design, and usability."
