Showcasing Media Art Integrating AI, AR, and VR
Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting submissions for the official name of the 'Siheung Mokgam Media Art Exhibition Hall (tentative name)' until August 24.
The exhibition hall, which will open in October, is located on the second floor of the Mokgam Eoullim Center at 674 Jonam-dong and covers an area of 237 square meters. It will serve as a space for exhibiting media art that combines advanced technologies such as digital, artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) with visual arts. In addition, it will function as a multi-purpose exhibition space offering citizens new cultural and artistic experiences through a variety of programs, including installation art, educational activities, and events.
Any citizen of the Republic of Korea may participate in the naming contest. The proposed name should reflect the identity and purpose of the exhibition hall, and must demonstrate clarity, symbolism, creativity, popularity, and a connection to the local community.
The city will select the official name through expert evaluation and a public preference survey. Thirty participants will be randomly selected to receive mobile coupons.
