Used for Emergency Livelihood and Housing Support
Doosan Group has contributed relief funds to support regions affected by heavy rainfall, joining efforts to aid recovery in disaster-stricken areas.
On July 23, Doosan Group announced that it had donated 500 million won to help residents in areas recently damaged by torrential rains across the country. The donation will be used for a variety of support activities, including emergency livelihood and housing assistance for flood victims, as well as the restoration of homes and facilities.
A Doosan representative stated, "We hope this will help residents who have suffered significant damage regain stability as soon as possible."
Previously, Doosan has consistently supported disaster recovery efforts by donating 500 million won for each major incident, including this year's wildfire in Yeongnam, the 2023 wildfire in Gangneung, the 2022 wildfires in Uljin and Samcheok, and the heavy rainfall damage in the central region. In 2022, Doosan also dispatched Doosan Bobcat excavators and portable generators worth one million dollars to the earthquake site in T?rkiye, providing equipment for relief and recovery activities.
