Starseed Wins Women's Startup Competition, Proving Pulitzer AI's Global PR Capabilities

Starseed, led by CEO Son Bomi, announced on July 8 that it had won an award at the 26th Women's Startup Competition with its generative AI-based global PR automation platform, Pulitzer AI.

Celebrating its 26th year, the Women's Startup Competition is the only domestic contest in Korea dedicated to discovering female (and prospective female) entrepreneurs with outstanding ideas and technological capabilities, and to encouraging women to launch technology-based startups. This year's event, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, attracted 1,131 teams nationwide, resulting in a competition ratio of approximately 28 to 1. A total of 40 teams were selected as final awardees. Starseed was among the top 26 teams, earning a spot in the integrated finals of "Challenge! K-Startup 2025," scheduled for September.

Starseed operates Pulitzer AI, a global SaaS and agent platform that automates the entire PR process?from press release creation and distribution to news monitoring and performance analysis. Without paid marketing, the company has secured over 2,000 users and has generated more than 10,000 cumulative press releases.

Key features such as article generation technology using large language models (LLM) and a journalist matching algorithm have been validated through multiple patents. Starseed is accelerating technological advancement with the goal of evolving into an AI PR expert agent that drafts press releases tailored to each company's situation and proposes issue response strategies.

Recently, the company enhanced its global news clipping feature to improve the efficiency of corporate media response tasks. Pulitzer AI's news clipping function automatically searches and collects domestic and international news articles based on keywords using AI, summarizes key content, and provides sentiment analysis to help users understand the tone of the articles.

Users can receive clipping results via email or KakaoTalk according to their preferred delivery schedule. Notably, the service can also collect, translate, and summarize articles from overseas premium media outlets that typically require a paid subscription, delivering only the essential information in a concise format.

Son Bomi, CEO of Starseed, commented, "This award is a recognition of Starseed's technological capabilities and business potential. We will continue to pursue ambitious goals targeting the global market, lead the AI transformation of the PR industry, and strive to provide better services to our users."

Son was also appointed as a member of the Women's Enterprise Committee of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in March, and is actively participating in policy discussions and networking to support the growth of female entrepreneurs in Korea.

With this award, Starseed will receive additional support, including business development assistance, investment linkage programs, and coaching and mentoring from domestic and international experts. The program will provide practical growth support, including mentoring from accelerators and investment professionals, as well as technological advancement, marketing, and securing sales channels.
