Changwon Special City completed a full-scale remodeling of the City Hall cafeteria over the past three months and officially resumed operations on July 7 with an opening ceremony.
This remodeling project was carried out to provide employees with a more comfortable and safer dining environment, as well as to improve overall welfare.
At the opening ceremony, Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, Kwon Sunghyun, Vice Chairman of the Changwon Special City Council, and Son Minbae, Chairman of the Changwon City Public Officials Labor Union, toured the newly renovated cafeteria, shared the first meal together, and encouraged the kitchen staff.
Through this project, the cafeteria was upgraded by securing a larger and more pleasant dining space, strengthening hygiene and safety facilities, and repairing floor leaks. Notably, this was the first full-scale remodeling since the integration of Changwon City, and it is expected to increase employee satisfaction and contribute to creating a vibrant work environment.
Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, "I hope the cafeteria will become more than just a place to eat, but a warm space where colleagues can communicate and recharge," adding, "We will continue to make various efforts to improve employee welfare in the future."
