Two Men in Their 20s Suspected of Switching Stickers
Police Tracking Suspects Based on CCTV Footage
Someone switched the 'women's bath' and 'men's bath' stickers inside an elevator at a public bathhouse, causing a female customer to be exposed to men.
According to Yonhap News and JTBC on June 12, Incheon Michuhol Police Station received a report at around 2:00 a.m. on May 27 that the signs for the women's and men's baths had been swapped at a bathhouse in Incheon, resulting in a woman in her 20s being exposed. The female customer called 112, saying, "I entered the bathhouse thinking it was the women's bath, but it turned out to be the men's bath."
Because of the switched stickers, the woman in her 20s used the men's bath and her naked body was exposed to other men. She is reportedly receiving psychiatric treatment as a result.
After reviewing building CCTV footage, police confirmed that two men, believed to be in their 20s, were seen switching the stickers inside the bathhouse elevator.
The two men reportedly arrived at the bathhouse by car at around 11:00 p.m. on May 26, the night before the incident, and swapped the men's bath sticker next to the third-floor elevator button with the women's bath sticker next to the fifth-floor button.
Police are tracking the suspects based on the CCTV footage. They are investigating the case on charges of obstruction of business and plan to determine the specific criminal charges after apprehending the suspects.
