Woo Wonshik Appoints Tak Hyunmin as Event Planning Advisor to National Assembly Speaker

On the morning of June 12, National Assembly Speaker Woo Wonshik appointed Tak Hyunmin, former Blue House Protocol Secretary, as the Event Planning Advisor to the Speaker in his office. Advisor Tak previously served as Senior Administrator of the Presidential Protocol Office, Presidential Event Planning Advisor, and Blue House Protocol Secretary.

Speaker Woo stated, "During the process of experiencing the December 3 Martial Law, public expectations for the role of the National Assembly have increased significantly. The time has come for the National Assembly to properly fulfill its role for the people in this new era." He added, "Please make efforts so that the National Assembly can transform and advance in a way that builds public trust through events held by the Assembly."


Advisor Tak responded, "I will contribute to organizing events that make the National Assembly feel more familiar and approachable to the public." Advisor Tak is expected to provide advice and counsel on all stages of planning, execution, and evaluation for major National Assembly events, including Constitution Day.


At the appointment ceremony held in the Speaker's office, attendees included Chief Secretary to the Speaker Cho Oseop, Senior Secretary for Political Affairs Kwak Hyun, Senior Secretary for Policy Lee Wonjeong, Senior Secretary for Messaging Cho Kyungsook, as well as Deputy Secretary General for Legislation Jin Sunhee, Deputy Secretary General Park Taehyung, Director General for Planning and Coordination Lee Yangseong, and Director for Cultural Communication Jeong Jieun from the National Assembly Secretariat.
