The "Small Business Competitiveness Enhancement Project" is a public-private partnership program in which large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises jointly carry out projects to boost the competitiveness of SMEs. Based on its expertise in developing functional pet food and its distribution capabilities, Nongshim plans to pursue a variety of initiatives with Fresh Hour, including the joint development of premium products, the commercialization of functional products using agricultural produce, and the expansion of both domestic and export sales channels.
Nongshim Banryeodaum is a functional pet food brand developed through the in-house startup program (N-Start). It is distinguished by the use of functional ingredients recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety to enhance efficacy, and by transparently displaying the ingredients and their quantities for each product to increase credibility. Thanks to Nongshim's technology, the products are formulated to appeal to pets' palates, making them easy to feed.
A Nongshim representative stated, "Through this collaboration, we aim not only to strengthen our new business capabilities in the pet industry but also to realize the social value of growing together with small and medium-sized enterprises. We will continue to practice win-win cooperation in various fields and strive to become a sustainable company that contributes to society."
Meanwhile, Nongshim operates a variety of programs to promote mutual growth with its partners. Based on its achievements in supporting partners?such as shortening payment terms and operating a win-win fund?the company received the top award in the win-win cooperation program category at the 2024 Korea Win-Win Growth Awards.
