Presenting a New Paradigm for High-Performance Electric Sedans
On June 12, Hyundai Motor Company unveiled teaser images of its high-performance electric vehicle, the Ioniq 6 N.
Hyundai has incorporated the expertise of its high-performance N brand, adding elements that emphasize aerodynamic efficiency and dynamic driving performance. The company also highlighted the low and wide stance befitting a high-performance sedan. The teaser images reveal that the Ioniq 6 N features a large wing spoiler, along with widened fenders and a prominent body.
The Ioniq 6 N has been developed based on Hyundai N's three core performance philosophies: Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sports Car. With the Ioniq 6 N, Hyundai aims to deliver agile cornering performance, outstanding endurance at the limits, and a high-performance driving experience that seamlessly transitions between everyday use and spirited driving.
Park Junwoo, Executive Director of Hyundai Motor's N Management Division, stated, "The Ioniq 6 N, which fully reflects the preferences of high-performance customers, will offer a new level of driving pleasure. By incorporating the full breadth of Hyundai N's technological capabilities, the completely redesigned Ioniq 6 N will once again redefine driving enjoyment as a high-performance electric sedan."
The Ioniq 6 N is scheduled to make its world premiere at the Goodwood Festival in the United Kingdom this July, where Hyundai plans to present a new paradigm for the global high-performance car market.
