GS25 and Emart Everyday Join Naver's "Jigeumbaedal" to Strengthen Quick Commerce

Naver's artificial intelligence (AI) commerce shopping platform, Naver Plus Store (Nepleus), announced on June 12 that its self-operated quick commerce service "Jigeumbaedal" will newly feature GS25 and Emart Everyday.

Launched on May 15, Naver Jigeumbaedal is a quick commerce service that displays products and stores deliverable within approximately 1.5 kilometers of the user via the Nepleus website and application (app). When users search for a desired product, the service shows stores?including convenience stores, supermarkets, and local marts?nearby that offer immediate delivery.

GS25, which joined the platform on June 11, can deliver orders of 10,000 won or more using its motorcycle delivery network and other logistics partners from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., typically within about one hour. Users can receive convenience store products from approximately 1,000 stores nationwide based on their location, and the service is expected to expand to all GS25 locations in the future.

Next week, Emart Everyday, a supermarket chain operating about 190 stores nationwide, will also be added to the Jigeumbaedal service. In July, Homeplus Express's delivery coverage is expected to expand as the delivery network is further upgraded.

Lee Joomi, head of Naver's N Delivery business, stated, "We are expanding partnerships with companies capable of immediate delivery," adding, "We will also enhance service features such as 'nearby search' to broaden users' quick commerce experiences."

Meanwhile, Naver and GS25 are running a promotion until the end of this month, offering a 5,000 won cart discount for first-time Jigeumbaedal customers who spend 20,000 won or more. In addition, Naver Plus Membership users can receive a 3,000 won delivery fee discount on purchases of 20,000 won or more.
