During the event, the university president and professors personally participated, providing more than 1,000 students?who were exhausted from preparing for exams?with words of encouragement, as well as chicken skewers, tornado potatoes, and iced mango.

The "Night Snack of Love" event, which began in 2003, has become a traditional event at the University of Seoul. It was temporarily suspended from 2020 to 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but resumed in the first semester of 2024.

This event is funded by the operating profits of the University of Seoul's welfare facilities, and is regarded as a model case for student welfare.
