This day marked the Children's Day event in Dobong-gu, and Mayor Oh spent time joyfully with the children, walking around the venue dressed as Superman. The children asked Mayor Oh to take pictures with them and played games such as giving high-fives.
On May 3, Dobong-gu in Seoul (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) held a Children's Day event in the area around Madel-ro in front of Dobong-gu Office. The approximately 340-meter section from Dobong-gu Office to Raemian Apartment in Banghak 1-dong was filled with activities designed to engage all five senses of the children.
More than 30 diverse programs were offered, including retro games, designer experiences, and woodworking. There were also family-friendly activities such as the "Random Play Dance Time" and a "Breaking One-Day Class" hosted by the Dobong-gu Office breaking dance professional team.
Mayor Oh Eon-seok said, "Seeing the children smile so brightly makes me hopeful for our future. Just like these smiles, we will do our utmost to continue supporting them so that they can keep dreaming and grow up well."
