A total of 38 personnel from related agencies, including the fire department, police, and city hall, along with 10 pieces of equipment such as command vehicles and pump trucks, have been deployed to the site to carry out rescue and safety operations.
According to the fire authorities, the collapse is believed to have occurred because the ground was weakened by recent continuous rainfall, and soil was lost along the rainwater drainage pipes.
A fire department official stated, "We are conducting safety inspections to prevent additional damage from the collapse, and are quickly carrying out the evacuation of residents and the removal of vehicles."
