Cultivating Core Talents to Lead Gwangju Agriculture
63 Students in Two Departments: Local Distribution and Healing Agriculture
On the 19th, the Gwangju Agricultural Technology Center in Gyeonggi held the '2025 12th Gwangju Clean Farmers College Entrance Ceremony' to cultivate core talents who will lead Gwangju agriculture.

This agricultural college consists of two departments, the Local Distribution Department and the Healing Agriculture Department, with a total of 63 students. Education will be conducted 20 times per department, totaling 80 hours, from now until September at the Agricultural Technology Center and agricultural sites.
The Local Distribution Department will provide education on safe cultivation and management methods for our agricultural products, while the Healing Agriculture Department will offer education on horticultural therapy using healing resources, healing farm design, and program development. Both departments will combine theory and practical training.
Mayor Bang Se-hwan encouraged, "I hope the Gwangju Clean Farmers College becomes an opportunity that offers infinite possibilities to farmers amid the challenging agricultural realities," and added, "I look forward to seeing all trainees again at the graduation ceremony after they complete the course diligently."
Meanwhile, established in 2014 and now in its 12th term, the Gwangju Clean Farmers College has produced 715 graduates to date and continues activities to contribute to regional development throughout Gwangju City.
