National Busan Science Museum Signs MOU on Science Culture Promotion with Gyeongnam Technopark and Gyeongnam Robot Land Foundation

Cooperation for the Spread of Regional Scientific Culture
and the Establishment of a Science Culture Ecosystem

The National Busan Science Museum (Director Song Samjong) signed separate Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) on the 18th with Gyeongnam Technopark (President Kim Junghwan) and the Gyeongnam Robot Land Foundation (President Choi Wonki) to promote the spread of scientific culture.

The National Busan Science Museum and Gyeongnam Technopark signed an MOU at 11:30 a.m. on the 18th in the conference room on the 3rd floor of the Gyeongnam Technopark headquarters building to jointly develop scientific culture content and create social value based on science and technology.


In particular, the two organizations agreed to strengthen cooperation to activate the Southeast Science Museum Council, led by the National Busan Science Museum, and the Gyeongnam Science Culture Hub Center of Gyeongnam Technopark, in order to build a scientific culture ecosystem. They will also jointly develop science exploration education programs utilizing the institutions' infrastructure.


Subsequently, the National Busan Science Museum signed an MOU with the Gyeongnam Robot Land Foundation at 2:30 p.m. in the medium conference room of the Robot Research Center of the Gyeongnam Robot Land Foundation to promote scientific culture.

The two organizations will collaborate to present exhibition content aimed at spreading science and technology culture by linking the National Busan Science Museum, the Robot Research Center, and Masan Robot Land. They will also promote convergence education programs combining science and robotics, as well as joint marketing initiatives.


Through these agreements, the National Busan Science Museum aims to establish a strategic partnership for the spread of scientific culture and regional economic development. Based on these MOUs, the museum plans to jointly plan various programs to expand opportunities for science experiences and foster future talent.


Song Samjong, Director of the National Busan Science Museum, stated, "Through the closely collaborative Triple Helix system involving academia, industry, and government, we will create an innovative scientific culture model that organically connects science and technology, industry, and education." He added, "With these agreements, we will further strengthen the region's scientific culture network and faithfully fulfill our role as a hub for the spread of scientific culture as the leading science museum in the southeastern region."
