Hana Securities forecasted on the 19th that the growth drivers expected this year for Tinkware will be reflected in its performance.
Seongho Kim, a researcher at Hana Securities, explained, "The growth potential of the core black box business remains valid," adding, "In January, a supply contract worth 46.1 billion KRW was signed for the BMW AG ‘Blackbox ACE 3.0 and 3.1’." He continued, "The related performance will be reflected within the year," and added, "With a higher proportion of premium models, profitability is also expected to improve compared to before."
He further analyzed, "Roborock officially launched the new S9 series last month," and said, "It will drive top-line growth within the year." He emphasized, "Since the launch of the Roborock S8 series in early Q2 last year, the sales of the environmental home appliances division have steadily grown," and noted, "Considering that robot vacuum cleaners are consumer goods with continuously increasing penetration rates, the improved performance of the S9 compared to previous models will also positively impact results."
Researcher Kim explained, "Inavi Systems is also expected to reflect the effects of customer deliveries starting from Q1 this year," adding, "Unlike in the past, it is expected to make a meaningful contribution to profitability."
It is estimated that Tinkware will achieve consolidated sales of 576.4 billion KRW and operating profit of 46.7 billion KRW this year. This represents increases of 17.8% and 79.6%, respectively, compared to last year.
