SOOP to Globally Live Stream KBO League from the 8th... Available for Viewing Overseas

1.77 Million Global Viewers Tuned In Last Year

SOOP announced on the 7th that it will live stream the '2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League' on its live streaming platform 'SOOP' starting from the 8th. SOOP will broadcast the KBO League for free worldwide except for South Korea through its web page and mobile app.

SOOP began global live streaming of the KBO League in June last year. The global live streaming of the 2024 KBO League, which lasted about four months, recorded a cumulative viewership of 1.77 million.

SOOP will be responsible for the global live streaming of the upcoming exhibition games starting on the 8th, as well as the regular season and postseason of this KBO League. To accommodate users who miss the live games, VOD services such as replays and highlights will also be provided.

This year’s KBO League regular season will open on the 22nd of this month, with a total of 720 games played, 144 games per team.

Along with live game broadcasts, various biased commentary broadcasts presented by global streamers through personal broadcasts will also be conducted. SOOP offers multilingual subtitle translation and global chat translation features for global streamers.
