Recruiting 15 Engaged Couples on a First-Come, First-Served Basis Until March 14
An Essential Course for a Happy Married Life: From DISC Assessment to Communication Skills
To Be Held at 10 a.m. on March 22 at the 3rd Floor Education Hall of the Gwangjin-gu Family Center
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will operate the 2025 Seoul Family School 'Premarital Couple Class' for engaged couples to support their successful married life.
The district has prepared this program to help engaged couples understand and respect each other's differences and grow together to create a happy family.
Fifteen couples who are planning to marry or interested in improving their relationship will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis. The education will be held on March 22 at 10 a.m. in the education hall on the 3rd floor of the Gwangjin-gu Family Center.
The approximately three-hour session will cover ▲ Session 1: Understanding and recognizing differences between oneself and the partner through the DISC assessment ▲ Session 2: Learning effective communication methods and various conversation techniques for a happy couple.
Last year’s participants of the 'Premarital Couple Class' left reviews such as, “The DISC assessment gave me time to reflect on myself again and helped me understand why my partner reacted and behaved the way they did,” and “It was a time to appreciate each other’s strengths once again and learn points to be careful about during conversations.”
The application period is until March 14, and both members of the participating couple must apply through the Gwangjin-gu Family Center website. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Family Project Team 1 at the Gwangjin-gu Family Center.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “I hope this education will broaden the understanding between engaged couples and lead to healthier relationships,” adding, “We will continue to develop good educational programs that help build warm and happy families.”
