The Department of Football Studies at Honam University (headed by Jang Jaehun) announced on the 5th that it has signed an agreement with Eoullim FC, a local football team affiliated with Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, which is participating in the K6 League.

Through this agreement, both institutions have decided to contribute to the revitalization of local football by sharing human and material resources, expanding field training opportunities, and strengthening the connection between academic studies and practical experience.

With this agreement, the two parties plan to cooperate in supporting internships and field training for Honam University students, providing employment connections and related information, dispatching youth football coaches for on-site support, and supporting player development and match operations.

Jang Jaehun, head of the department, said, "Through this agreement, the Department of Football Studies at Honam University will strengthen its organic collaboration with the local community and contribute to nurturing local football talent and revitalizing the football industry. In the future, students of the department will aim to participate in the K7 League and help expand the base of football in both the region and the university."
