Operation of InterBattery 2025 Booth
Business Partnership Consultations to Be Held
Geumyang, which has successfully entered the Gulf region including the United States and Saudi Arabia, announced on the 31st that it will establish a 'K-Battery Business Network.'
From March 5 to 7, Geumyang plans to set up a Geumyang Global Marketing Pavilion at 'InterBattery 2025,' the largest battery exhibition in Korea held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to conduct business partnership consultations for the joint entry of domestic technology companies into the US and Gulf regions.

Through consultations, technology companies can share Geumyang’s global order status in the US, Saudi Arabia, and other regions, and discuss technical cooperation for joint entry and collaboration plans for market development.
Geumyang intends to build a global cooperation system for the K-Battery industry that can maximize synergy effects through technical alliances with excellent domestic companies in the fields of Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and pack systems.
Previously, in September last year, Geumyang signed a battery supply contract worth 2.3 trillion KRW with the US-based Nanotech Energy, and in December of the same year, agreed with the Saudi Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) LAB on the supply and maintenance contract of 4,695 cylindrical ESS battery modules and the establishment of a joint venture.
Geumyang agreed with GCC LAB to jointly respond to future eco-friendly energy development projects such as UPS, ESS, EV, and drone applications by designing and constructing battery packaging manufacturing facilities and establishing a fully automated pack factory in Saudi Arabia.
Based on contracts with US Nanotech Energy and Saudi GCC LAB, Geumyang expects to jointly enter the global market by forming technical and strategic alliances with domestic companies possessing ESS, UPS, and pack system technologies that will equip batteries produced by Geumyang. Additionally, it is actively seeking alliances with domestic pack companies to target the electric two-wheeler markets in Indonesia, India, and Southeast Asia.
A Geumyang official stated, "While closely monitoring the global secondary battery market, which has contracted due to the electric vehicle chasm, we will actively respond and seek new opportunities in the global battery market by focusing on the high-growth and scalable fields of ESS, UPS, and electric scooters."
