The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will lend interview suits free of charge to young job seekers.
On the 31st, Suwon City announced that it will start the ‘2025 Cheongnarae’ project on February 3, which provides free rental of suit jackets and pants, shirts, skirts, blouses, and neckties to Suwon youth aged 19 to 39 (born between January 1, 1985, and December 31, 2006) who are preparing for employment.
The suit rental stores include ▲Suit Gallery (108 Edutown-ro, Yeongtong-gu) ▲The Iris (17 Jungbu-daero 170beon-gil, Paldal-gu) ▲Suit Vine (31 Gyeongsu-daero 994beon-gil, Jangan-gu) ▲Void Tuxedo & Suit Rental (23 Gwongwang-ro 123beon-gil) ▲Suit Fabric (88-5 Jungbu-daero), totaling five locations.
Applications can be made by visiting the Suwon Youth Portal website (www.swyouth.kr), clicking the ‘Cheongnarae’ banner, and making a reservation.
A Suwon City official said, "We have expanded the eligible age for using Cheongnarae from 19-34 to 19-39 and added one more rental store. We hope the Cheongnarae project will be a support for Suwon youth preparing for employment."
