During the Lunar New Year holiday, five national science museums will open their permanent exhibition halls free of charge and offer science-related experiential events such as constellation explanations related to the Year of the Snake and traditional folk games.

The Ministry of Science and ICT will conduct pre-inspections of communication quality and expand base station capacity targeting highways, terminals, and other areas expected to experience increased communication traffic during the holiday period. Additionally, a 24-hour response system will be operated with communication and platform providers to immediately address any disruptions.

Furthermore, throughout this month, the ministry will inspect vulnerabilities in important information and communication facilities such as telecommunications companies, platform companies, and data centers for winter season weaknesses and review measures to prepare for sudden traffic surges.

Minister Yoo Sang-im stated, "Despite the difficult times, we will mobilize all resources to ensure a joyful and safe Lunar New Year holiday," adding, "In particular, we plan to execute more than 70% of the budget within the first half of the year."
