Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 20th that it held the '8th Namyangju City SNS Citizen Supporters Launch Ceremony' at the Gyeonggi Viewer Media Center located in Dasan-dong on the 17th.

The 8th Namyangju City SNS Citizen Supporters (hereinafter referred to as Supporters) consist of 16 SNS activists from various ages and regions.

The Supporters will cover and deliver vivid news on various fields such as the city's major policies, events, and attractions to citizens through Namyangju City's official SNS channels until December this year.

The launch ceremony was held with about 20 attendees, including the Supporters and officials from the responsible departments, proceeding in the order of △appointment certificate presentation △introduction of Supporters and officials △activity guidance △Q&A session.

Following this, the Supporters concluded the schedule by touring various creative spaces and internal facilities such as the one-person media studio at the Gyeonggi Viewer Media Center.

A Namyangju City official said, “We welcome everyone appointed as the 8th Namyangju City SNS Supporters and hope that, as Supporters of Namyangju City, where history, transportation, and new towns harmonize, you will carry a sense of mission and responsibility to deliver diverse news from various changing areas of the region.”

Namyangju City plans to strengthen the capabilities of the Supporters by promoting regular education and workshops, evaluating activity performance, selecting outstanding Supporters, and supporting various activities to operate a solid SNS citizen supporter program.
